About Martica Sherman

Martica Sherman’s unapologetic approach to mental health and the eradicating of the stigma that is causing cultural gaps between the patient, the caregivers, family and society’s history of generalizing what is actually needed in support around mental health issues and mental health wellbeing is what caused her passion to become a mental health professional and mental health advocate. Through holistic and life transforming sessions, Martica helps her participants to uncover, define, and release those unhealthy behaviors to start a new journey of unconditional love and freedom. A passionate teacher of her life’s experiences, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, National Certified Counselor, mentoring with purpose, multi-business owner, radio cohost, mother, grandmother, and teacher of Gods gospel of truth continues to give back from her journey along with advocate for continued education for youth. Marticia Sherman’s journey has been fraught with tears, trials and tribulations. Only through God’s grace was she able triumph. What would have (and possibly should have) caused many others to become another negative statistic, is the very thing that caused her to be a revelatory beacon of truth. Nevertheless, she unveiled a sincerity about the unconditional love that God the Father brings, and the true depths of that intimacy alike. My Mission

Our mission is to eradicate the stigma and generational behaviors through the bridging or reconnecting the gaps in the mental health community. To accomplish is goal, we propose a three-pronged approach that includes, providing culturally competent care, increasing mental health literacy, and improving cultural awareness to care. Through the building of the right foundation, all parties, the therapist, the client, and the community can work towards a common ground of obtaining rapport and community relationships.

We understand in order to bridge this gap, every client's issue, needs, and goals will always be different depending on where they are in their journey of trauma and healing. We find being authentic and unapologetic in our delivery tends to allow the client to revisit, readjust, reset, and release the things they have found to hold them stagnate in their process. We focus on the now as we know the past has some bearings on the situation at hand. Allow us to take this journey with you and assist with processing it safely.
